百式司令部偵察機、所謂新司偵のキットで思い出すのは､私の場合マルサンの１／５０のキットである。
マルサンのキットにはエンジンの強制冷却ファンがパーツとして付いていた。
航空ファンのキット製作記事でファンの部品にエンジンのシリンダーを作成（プラ棒半割りだったかな）してエンジンとして再現する記事が出ていた。
それが冷却ファンありなしの一大論争になっていたと知ったのは、後のことである。
私の場合はエンジンの工作の前に、技術も無いのに防空戦闘機に改造しようとして、胴体パーツを刻んだところで、いつのまにか挫折して処分してしまった。
このタミヤのキットには冷却ファンのパーツは付属していない。という事は無しが正解だったのであろう。
この完成品はキットのデカールが薄くて下地が透けてしまった。（特に味方識別の翼の黄色）
色味も橙黄色と呼べないような感じである。塗装にすれば良かったと反省している。それ以外は組みやすいし、とてもいいキットだと私は思う。

As I recall, Dinah is a MARUSAN 1/50 kit.
There were engine cooling fan parts in that MARUSAN kit.
A Koku Fan magazine modeling article showed how to modify the cooling fan
to engine cylinders using plastic rods (maybe).
Later, I learned that the article was a source of controversy for the cooling
fan of the Dinah engines.
In my case I threw that kit away long before the engine modification since
I had failed to convert to the Defence Fighter because of my poor skills.
This TAMIYA kit does not contain engine cooling fan parts,which means that
there are no cooling fans in real aircrafts.
The decals in this model were weak, becvause they were very thin and not
coverd with paint well especialy the yellow band of identification friend
force.
The color of the band was not called orenge-yellow, so I decided to paint
it. This is a very good kit and easy to assemble, except for that decal
issue.
This model was completed on Jul. 7th,1996.
