月光１１型前期生産型と二つ同時に組み立てを開始した。
コクピットのサイド・コンソールは前期生産型と変えて、機体外部色の濃緑色で塗装した。
座席も本当は濃緑色らしいが、グンゼの濃松葉色で塗ってしまった。次に作る時は濃緑色で塗るつもりである。
I started assemble this kit same time with a Irving EARLY PRODUCTION model.
I painted side consoles IJN dark green used for outside of this
aircraft altered from EARLY PRODUCTION model.
The pilot and navigator seat should be painted IJN dark green also, but
i painted them dark pine leaf color.
Next time I will paint them IJN dark green.
タミヤのキットは、合いがいいので２機同時に製作しても、ほとんどストレスを感じない。
下の状態は２機とも同じ時期である。
A kit of TAMIYA is very good for fit and I do not feel stress even assembling
two kits same time.
後期型のエンジンは、戦局が悪化したので、無塗装のものもあったらしい。私もクランク・ケースとシリンダーの塗装を前期型と変えてみた。
コクピットを胴体に組み込み、左右を接着後に主翼を接着。ここまでくれば、後は結構早く出来あがる。
I heard that an engine of some Irving LATE PRODUCTION MODEL had no
painting because of the tide of war so bad.
So I painted Crank Case and Cylinders to Natural Metal changed from
EARLY PRODUCTION MODEL.
After cockpit installed to fuselage and glued together I cemented wing
to the fuselage. Come to this step rest is few.
さて、この後はキャノピーを接着して、機体の塗装をするのであるが、前期型は閉状態、こちらは開状態にするつもりなので、まだ接着しない。
筆塗りで塗装を行ったが、夏なので早く乾燥してしまい、筆むらになってしまった。勿論リターダ・シンナーは使用していた。
Well, next step is glue canopy and paint, however I use the canopy hatch
open parts instead of close parts that used for an early version so not
yet glue.
I painted with brush, but I have brush mark since paint dried faster because
Summer. Of cause i used a RETARDER THINNER.
その後デカールを貼り、つや消しクリアーを塗装したのが、９月２２日。以下はその画像。
Later I applied a decals and coated with clear flat paint on Sep. 22th.

その後、主脚や尾輪など足廻りと排気管、ピトー管などの工作をして、１１月４日に完成した。
After that,Main and Tail Gears,Exhausts pipes,Pitot tube and etc.
were assembled and attached to the fuselage. It was completed on Nov. 4th,2002.
