このキットが発売された時のモデルアートのキット評では、計器盤のレイアウトが正しくないと書かれていたが、後日スコードロン社のＩｎ Ａｃｔｉｏｎを見て、半分正しく半分間違いだと分かった。
キットの計器盤のレイアウトは米軍仕様なのである。
したがって私のこの完成品は英国の使用機なので、本来は計器盤のレイアウトを英国仕様にするべきなのであろうが、無視してある。
そもそも米軍のマーキングで完成するはずであったが、機首部分を駄目にしてしまい、急遽タミヤニュースの”これだけは作ろう”の記事を参考にして、ＧＲ．３に改造となったのである。
ノーズ部分はファントムか何かの、ドロップタンクの部品から作成した。デカールはマイクロ・スケール。
ドロップタンクはタミヤのシー・ハリアーから持ってきた。

Kit reviews article of the Model Art magazine described that Instrument panel layout of this kit  was not accurate, but I understood
It was half correct when  I read  In Action published by Squadron Signal  later.
The  instrument panel layout of this kit was to U.S.M.C aircraft specification.
I had to modify the instrument panel  since I completed kit as  a British Air Force aircraft but I ignored it.
Well it would be completed with U.S.M.C marking I melted  the nose part by  over using  strong cement . I decided to convert to GR.3
by referencing TAMIYA NEWS.
I made the nose part by using auxiliary fuel tank parts from Phantom II or some others. Decal was  Micro Scale
The auxiliary fuel tanks were from TAMIYA Sea Hurrier kit.
