熱帯地型の飛行機は通常型と比較すると、外形上の変化は気化器空気取入口にフィルターが装着してあったり、中にはパラソルを装着出来るように、フック止めがあったりする。
このキットはＥ−４／７ Ｔｒｏｐとして販売されていたが、個人的にはコンバーチブル
キットでもいいのではないかと思っている。
いろいろな型を作ってみたいモデラーは、結局いくつも購入するし、デカールがやや大判になっても同じ箱で流通させたほうがコストがかからないと思うのだが。でも小池
繁夫さんの箱絵が、１つ減ってしまうのは大きなマイナスではあるが。

Tropical spec. airclafts have a sand filter fixed to a carburetor
intake or an small blips(Umbrella Holders) on the fuselage under the port side of the canopy
compared to a non tropical model externaly.
This kit is sold as E-4/7 Trop,however it might be sold
as convertible kit as I think.
The modelers who want to make a various model is buy more than
one kit, and I think that the same box distribution cost is lower than
different box even decal sheet is larger.
But big minus point is we missed Shigeo Koike's Box Art.
