このガン・トラクターの写真（模型だったが）を初めて見たのは、タミヤ・ニュース１９６９年９月号（Ｖｏｌ．１７）。
オタワ戦争博物館の記事で、兵員輸送車として紹介されていた。
第一印象は、なかなか味のあるスタイルの車輌。でもキット化はされないだろう．．．であった。
タミヤの、クォード・ガン・トラクターが発売された時、似たような形状の車輌があるんだと思ったが、暫くしてこのキットが発売された。
当然すぐ購入した。思えばあの頃はＡＦＶキットもよく買っていた。このキットも２箱購入し、すぐに１つのキットを製作した。
他社のキットに比べて、離形剤と思われる、油のようなものが多く付着していたのを思い出す。
このキットの完成にあわせて、タミヤの２５ポンド砲をもう１つ作り出した記憶がある。

The first time that I saw the picture of this Field Gun Tractor (Scale Model though) was in the TAMIYA NEWS Vol.17 in Sep. 1969.
It was an article of the Ottawa War Museum introduced as a personal carrier.
My first impression was that it had an interesting style, but no model kit will be produced.
I thought it resembled the vehicle which TAMIYA released Quad Gun Tractor and I saw it,  soon this kit also was released.
Of course, I purchased it quickly. I remember that I got  many AFV kits  that time. I bought  two kits and started assembling one of them immediately.
This model reminded me that there was a lot of release agent like an oil on the parts compared to another model company.
By memory I assembled one more  TAMIYA  25 lb Field  GUN for this kit.
