タミヤのオリジナルとしては、ウォーター・ラインでは初めての外国・駆逐艦のキットである。
すでにピットロードから同クラスのキットが発売されていたが、購入していなかったので、私としても初めての米国駆逐艦の作品となった。
キット自体は組みやすいのだが、迷彩塗装の色調と実際の塗装に手がかかった。
スコードロン・シグナル社の資料があるので、違う塗装でもう何隻か作ってみたいとは思っている。
しかし、艦番号を必要とするものは、デカールの手当てをしなければならないので、迷ってしまう。
後期型の発売はないのだろうか？１／３５０の発売はあったけど。
It is the kit of the first foreign country destroyer in a water line for
original of a TAMIYA.
It became the work of the first U.S. destroyer even for me, because it
had already produced from a Pitt load but i didn't purchase it.
Although kit is easy to assemble, I spent much time to color mixing and
painting.
I would like to making more since I have a reference (In Action) from Squadron
Signal Publication.
But I have to provide a decal if it has a hull number, So I hesitate.
Does TAMIYA produces late version? They produced 1/350 though.
