駆逐艦は、好きな艦種の１つである。一番好きなのは重巡。次が軽巡と駆逐艦が同じくらい好きである。
で、この海風であるが、キットは白雪を使用している。
というか、モデル・アートの別冊によると、白雪として完成させるには、艦橋の修正が必要であると書いてある。
修正に自信がなかったので、後期型である海風として完成させた。多分駆逐艦の完成品第１号だったと思う。
いつもどおりピット・ロードの別売りパーツをふんだんに使用している。

Destroyer is one of my favorite kind of ships. Most favorite ship is Heavy Cruiser next are Light Cruiser and Destroyer same ratings.
And this UMIKAZE, I used SHIRAYUKI kit.
Other words, Model Art magazine special issue told me that if I assembled as SHIRAYUKI it needed modify of the bridge.
As I didn't have a skills for modify, I completed this kit as UMIKAZE which is later version of SHIRAYUKI class. May be this was my first destroyer model.
I used many Pit Road Japanese Ship Equipment parts as usual.
